Data Protection Notice

This notice explains how Şanlı Döküm Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("the Company") processes personal data in its capacity as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

1. Data controller

2. What data we process

• Identity and contact data you provide through the contact and quotation forms: name, company, e-mail address, telephone number.
• Message content — the enquiry text you write to us.
• Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of visit.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and preparing a quotation — necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
• Fulfilling legal record-keeping and tax obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-a and 5/2-ç).
• Measuring and improving website performance — only where you have given consent for analytics cookies (KVKK Art. 5/1).

4. Transfer of data

Your data is not sold or rented. It may be shared with our hosting provider and, where legally required, with public authorities. Transfers abroad are made only to providers offering an adequate level of protection.

5. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 3 years from the date of last contact; commercial and accounting records for the statutory period of 10 years. Data is deleted or anonymised when the retention period ends.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information about the processing, request correction or erasure, object to results produced by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages.
